DUDE! There is a guy here that I think works for Ford or Nissan and has a CTS V6 with a straight pipe and it sounds like absolute garbage.

I think I heard one of these the other day. It sounded unmuffled and was the most gawdawful drone I’ve ever heard from a car. The only credit I will give the EcoBoost V6 on sound is that on the in-car livestream from a Ford GT at Le Mans, 9000 miles away at 3 in the morning, in the rain, through crappy earbuds, it sounded sort of ok. In person, even the race cars sounds hurrible. The downshifts are these disgusting, loud little pop- farts.

I don’t know. I haven’t heard a straight pipe Raptor. Sadly most V6 engines sound like trash with a straight pipe.

Modified Raptors are the official vehicle of the Denver area Whole Paycheck Foods parking lot. Went in while I was there over the holidays and there were 3 (!!) in the parking lot.
